Moosach. Another fire alert struck Riestrasse in Moosach on Sunday, this being the third such incident occuring in less than two weeks. Residents have expressed concern and anger at the lack of progress in dealing with these disturbances and want more done to safeguard their area in future.

In the latest incident, large commercial bins located in the basement of a 22-story building were set on fire.  Nobody was injured, although fire and smoke damage has been reported.  The fire service were quick to respond and quickly secure the basement.  Some residents were evacuated and led to safety, but the majority of people were able to remain in their property throughout the emergency operation.  Police are investigating the incident but as yet there is no news on the cause of the fire or whether or not it was started maliciously.
